Service Description
SmartSec provides AI-powered smart contract security scanning. Basic tier uses pattern-based detection, Pro tier uses Claude AI for deep semantic analysis. Results are informational and do not constitute a professional security audit.
Important Disclaimer
SmartSec is NOT a replacement for professional security audits. AI scanning is a complement to, not a replacement for, manual audits by qualified security professionals. For high-value contracts or significant TVL, always engage a reputable audit firm.
Eligibility
- You must have a compatible Solana wallet for Pro tier payments
- You must have rights to analyze any contracts you submit
- You are responsible for complying with laws in your jurisdiction
Payment Terms
- Payments are made via x402 protocol using USDC on Solana
- Pricing: Basic tier (FREE, 1 scan/day), Pro tier ($0.50-$2.00 based on contract size)
- All payments are final and non-refundable
- Blockchain transaction fees (gas) are your responsibility
Contract Processing
- Contracts are processed in memory and never stored
- Audit reports are temporarily available for 1 hour, then deleted
- No data retention: Source code is discarded immediately after analysis
- You are responsible for the content of contracts you submit
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Submit contracts you don't have rights to analyze
- Use scan results to exploit vulnerabilities in production contracts
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the service
- Circumvent rate limits or access controls
- Misrepresent scan results as a professional audit
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee:
- Detection of all vulnerabilities
- Accuracy of vulnerability classifications
- That scanned contracts are safe to deploy
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Compatibility with all contract languages
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:
- Financial losses from exploited contracts
- Missed vulnerabilities in scanned contracts
- Failed transactions or wallet errors
- Damages from service interruptions
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of your contracts and audit reports
- The SmartSec service, branding, and code remain our property
- We do not claim any rights to your contract code
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time for violations of these terms or for any reason.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be posted on this page.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
